Appearance

Akainu is a tall man, about as tall as his fellow admirals, with a square face, very pronounced features and short black hair. He usually wears a standard Navy cap and a red double-breasted jacket, decorated with what appears to be a rose on his left buttonhole. Unlike many high-ranking Navy soldiers, he doesn't wear a tie, instead leaving his flower-patterned shirt unbuttoned, revealing his muscular neck and part of his tattoo. He wears black gloves and shoes.
